Abstract

The digital transformation has disrupted how humans manage time, focus attention, and experience spirituality, leading to digital fatigue and fragmented attention. Conversely, Psalm 90:12 offers a theological foundation for time stewardship through an awareness of human mortality. Although studies on Psalm 90 and digital theology have grown rapidly, the integration between Old Testament exegesis and spiritual formation in the digital age remains limited. This study aims to analyze the theological meaning of the phrase limnôt yāmênû in Psalm 90:12 and formulate a time stewardship framework for believers amidst digital culture. A qualitative library research method was employed, utilizing a historical-grammatical exegesis and canonical analysis dialogued reflectively with digital theology. The findings indicate that limnôt yāmênû ("numbering our days") is not merely a quantitative calculation or secular time management, but a spiritual discipline to acquire lēḇ ḥokmâ ("a heart of wisdom") by placing God at the center of time management. This study concludes that time stewardship based on Psalm 90:12 serves as a vital spiritual formation paradigm for maintaining believers' spiritual resilience and ethical orientation in the digital era.
