AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Author Guidelines for Journal Views

Thank you for choosing Views as the platform to publish your research. To ensure that your manuscript meets the journal’s requirements and is processed smoothly, please carefully follow the guidelines outlined below. These guidelines will help maintain the quality and consistency of the journal’s content.

1. General Submission Requirements

  • Originality: The manuscript must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear, academic English. If English is not your first language, we recommend that you have your manuscript professionally edited.

  • Manuscript Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

  • Word Count: Articles should typically be between 4,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. However, shorter or longer submissions will be considered if the content justifies it.

  • Abstract: An abstract of no more than 250 words is required. The abstract should be concise and summarize the key objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the research.

2. Structure of the Manuscript

The manuscript should be organized in the following order:

  1. Title: The title should be concise, descriptive, and informative. Avoid abbreviations or jargon that may not be clear to all readers.

  2. Abstract: A brief summary (max 250 words) that provides an overview of the research. Include the research question, methodology, key results, and conclusions.

  3. Keywords: Provide 4 to 6 relevant keywords that accurately describe the focus of the research.

  4. Introduction: The introduction should outline the research problem, objectives, significance, and a brief review of the relevant literature. Clearly state the research questions or hypotheses.

  5. Methodology: Describe the methods used to conduct the research, including the research design, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. Be detailed enough to allow replication of the study.

  6. Results and Discussion: Present the findings of the study in a clear and concise manner. Use tables, figures, and charts where necessary to support your results. Do not interpret the results in this section. Interpret and explain the results in relation to the research questions. Compare your findings with existing literature, address potential limitations, and suggest directions for future research.

  7. Conclusions: Provide a summary of the key findings, their implications, and recommendations based on the research.

  8. References: Include all references cited in the manuscript. Follow the APA 7th edition citation style for both in-text citations and reference list.

3. Figures and Tables

  • Figures: Figures should be of high quality and clearly labeled. They should be submitted in separate files (e.g., .jpg, .png, .tiff, .eps), and not embedded in the manuscript text. Provide a caption for each figure.

  • Tables: Tables should be formatted in the manuscript and numbered consecutively. Each table should have a brief and descriptive title. Ensure that the tables are easy to read and not overcrowded with information.

4. Ethical Considerations

  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited. Manuscripts suspected of plagiarism will be rejected.

  • Human and Animal Rights: If applicable, research involving human participants or animals must comply with ethical standards and should include a statement indicating ethical approval from the relevant authorities (e.g., institutional review boards).

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research. If no conflict exists, authors should include a statement such as: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

  • Acknowledgments: Include acknowledgments of financial support, institutional affiliations, and individuals who contributed to the research but are not listed as co-authors.

5. Submission and Peer Review Process

  • Online Submission: Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. A user account is required to submit a manuscript.

  • Peer Review: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other.

  • Revisions: Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on feedback from the reviewers. Please carefully address all reviewer comments and provide a response letter explaining how the revisions were made.

6. Copyright and Licensing

  • Copyright Transfer: Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors are required to transfer copyright to the journal. Authors retain the right to use their work for personal purposes or in other publications, but the journal holds the right to publish and distribute the article.

  • Open Access: All articles published in Views are open access, meaning they are freely available to readers without subscription fees. Authors agree to make their articles available under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.

7. Author Responsibilities

  • Accuracy of Information: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of all data, statements, and references within the manuscript.

  • Authorship: All authors listed on the manuscript must have made substantial contributions to the research and writing. Please provide a clear indication of each author’s contribution to the research (e.g., conceptualization, methodology, data analysis, writing).

  • Corresponding Author: Designate one author to be the corresponding author. This individual will handle all communication with the journal and will be responsible for submitting the manuscript and responding to reviewers' comments.

8. Formatting and Style Guidelines

  • Text Formatting: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and 1.5 line spacing for the entire manuscript. Use 1-inch margins on all sides.

  • Headings: Use headings and subheadings to organize the manuscript into clear sections (e.g., Introduction, Methodology, Results, etc.). Headings should be numbered (e.g., 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology).

  • References Style: Follow the APA 7th edition for both in-text citations and the reference list. Ensure that all references are complete and accurate.

9. Revisions and Resubmission

  • Authors will be notified of the editorial decision after the peer review process. If revisions are requested, authors should make the necessary changes and resubmit the revised manuscript within the timeframe provided.

  • In case of major revisions, authors should provide a detailed response letter outlining how each reviewer’s comments have been addressed.
